Dizon bids for congress

DAGUPAN CITY - in his bid to give the people of the first district of Pangasinan another option for congressional race first district Provincial Board Member Danilo B Dizon officially announced his plans to join the congressional race on the 2010 elections.

Dizon who is now serving his third term as member of provincial board has announced his congressional bid during the Kapihan sa Besco.

He said that this is one tough endeavor considering that among those who have signified their intentions to run for the same race has an edge when it comes to logistic matters.

However, offering the people of the first district an option base on performance as a public servant may also put him eligible for the race he said.

“Kahit papaano naman nakag silbi rin tayo ng maayos sa ating mga kababayan sa ating distrito at kung papalarin na ipag katiwala sa atin ang posiyon na ito maaring may mga bagay tayong maitutulong at mas marami pa tayong magawa para sa ating kababayan “He added.

Dizon, said that aside from Infrastructure developments needed in the district job generating programs are also needed in order to help in the social development of the people making it possible for them to improve their lives and help in the development of their own locality.

BM Dizon along with his daughter Carol Dizon-Sison Alaminos City’s number one councilor has been doing a lot of socio-development programs like the jobs fair where the residents can be given equal opportunity in terms of job security available at Metropolis only like Makati city.

Dizon who is coordinating to different government agencies likes PESO, POEA, DOLE, SSS and OWWA during Jobs fair said that atleast more than a Thousand applicants every jobs fair are given chance to be given the opportunity to work here and abroad.

He said that this opportunities enables a community to be peaceful, progressive and developed especially if every home has an equal opportunity to be given to earn a decent living.

Apart from this Dizon has also initiated livelihood assistance program to be able to help those who are engaged in agri-aqua culture.

The Department of Labor and Employment Office (DOLE) saw to it there were no registration fees or other unnecessary charges imposed on job applicants.

While, the Social Security System (SSS) drummed up membership, provided SSS numbers to those who were interested and answered the queries of the current members which regards to their claims, benefits and other issues and concerns.

Dizon added that joint efforts that will consolidate acts of public servants, authorities and the business sector could help boost developments in every districts and moves to initiate this could be among his callings.

Former Bolinao Mayor Jesus Boying Celeste and GMA 7’s veteran reporter Maki Pulido has signified their intentions for the same post comes 2010 election.
