4 villages tagged as illegal drugs areas of concern

DAGUPAN CITY – Four barangays in Dagupan were tagged as illegal drugs areas of immediate concern.
No less than City Police Superintendent Romeo Caramat Jr. disclosed to Pangasinan Today that barangays Bonuan Binloc, Bonuan Gueset, Pantal and Barangay 2&3 is under tight monitoring by the city police along with some components of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
It will be recalled that 77 both users and pushers were arrested by the city police for illegal drugs came from the said villages.
Earlier in a report, Dagupan City was branded by the PDEA as the transshipment area of illegal drugs coming from the NCR and Barangay Bonuan Binloc was tagged as the City’s illegal drug center.
Last Wednesday the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) together with the local police conducted training and seminar for anti-narcotics intelligence and investigation for some team leaders of Task Force Bantay Dagupan to eradicate illegal drugs menace in the city.
“The local police will not stop until the city reaches zero demand in illegal drugs” Caramat added.
